Our evidence standard
We write original explanations from publicly available documentation. We prefer manufacturer manuals for model details and public authorities for rules or consumer guidance. A source link is a way to inspect evidence; it does not imply endorsement, a partnership or a commercial relationship.
We identify historical models and distinguish their original documentation from current support. A publication date on this site means the content was reviewed on that date; it does not mean a product was physically tested. We have not performed hands-on comparative testing for these guides. We do not award star ratings or claim laboratory results.
Editorial judgment and corrections
